OTHER NOTES:

I can add a few more things....firstly that Tavernier was jumped by tommy lee jones, 'col the sol' and the actress who plays FBI agent gomez....she was the one who had found Tavernier out, 'in the swamp' having a teddy bear's picnic with other members of the cast and crew...watch the documentary on extras, upon the dvd to find out 'who was part of Tavernier's teddy bear's picnic...that Glaswegian actress and the chubby guy who talks about wrestling with tommy and losing...precisely what he was to do...that night in the swamp...tommy's gang were to overpower the lot of them...Tavernier was then to agree to cooperate....

tommy was/is a radio enthusiast...an expert....he was to set the clue trail...and this is what he had told me to do 'so many years ago now'....with Tavernier - as the 'French connection-on-the-system' let us say...along the following lines - when Tavernier calls you to his red pick-up truck (as featured in the movie)....in order to retune his connection to satellite...I want you to....

well it all went as planned...I tuned Tavernier into the wrong frequency...which wiped his connection out, as far as I know...however there was a gang of 'invisibles' around and one had been spotted by the pentagon's all-seeing eye, in the back of the truck...there was another 'invisible' behind the GCHQ team, watching the scene from afar...one of the GCHQ team then got shot....tommy was to 'watch' it all...he also had the 'all-seeing eye'....he saw the man turn away from where Tavernier and his truck was...to then get shot in the head....by another of that 'invisibles' gang...those that GCHQ couldn't see 'upon the system'....

what else? the pentagon then took over...to track and trace the gang...back to the bush family, basically...and that is why US intelligence no longer needed 'foreign assistance' let us say....nobody 'foreign' involved - in relation to who they were trying to 'get'...

oh and one last point...I can remember going to see Tavernier films with my father...as a teenager...my father was to say that he didn't like Tavernier much at all...but the films were still worth seeing...in direct contrast, ingabot used to enthuse over Tavernier....but then she would do, wouldn't she? Inga had told her all about him....however, he wasn't the real villain of the piece, was he? there were much bigger fish to catch...
