'col the sol' had been particularly concerned about that 'sun king/lion on a wheel' reference...because he knew that it was supposed to represent himself...
additionally, I was also to remember that it was very important for portillo to interview this man...but seeing as I couldn't remember why, at the time...I didn't mention it...instead I simply put up the 'taschmann snips' of him....see previous notes upon them 'playing around with the digital image' to achieve certain effects - to then put it all onto dvd....and yes, 'col the sol' had laughed "make him like spock" in relation to portillo's ear:
