let me see...I can remember a conversation with agnieszka who was translating an English text at the time...she had put the word 'faun' in (for 'light brown')...and somehow it didn't sound 'quite right' in context because of the double-meaning of 'faun/fawn' in pronunciation - and relation to the verb 'to fawn upon somebody'...and so I recommended the word 'beige' instead...something like 'he was wearing a 'light brown' jacket'....agnieszka hadn't wanted to use 'light brown' and so had chosen 'faun' instead...

 

yellowish-brown hair...the colour of that 'nice young man's hair'...oh I see where this is going now...the image of a 'faun'...a satyr...had that 'nice young man' been programmed in, as a 'faun' - in some Narnia script?...so he'll be in contact with the 'white witch's people' at some point in time?
