'lovely rita meter maid'...the woman who charged by the hour...toddy who used to do what he then taught Tomlinson to do...in order to make a quick buck when he was out of cash...hytner could remember what then happened to 'lovely rita' who had tried to teach Michael Richardson's gang to be 'prostitutes' in a suburban garden shed..."pull her wings off" time...she died in hospital, a few days later....we were all about 6-8 years old, at the time....she had been trying to teach us how to 'solicit' and 'charge by the hour'....
